July TBR ’15!

So, I decided I should start making a TBR list for each month to better organize my TBR books (which is currently at about 70 book and slowly growing). So below are my TBR books for July and hopefully I will be able to get to all of them. Here goes:

Book 1

One of my goals this summer was to venture out of my comfort zone of contemporary romance and start reading other genres. I decided to start with fantasy because I heard such great things about Ms. Sarah J. Maas and I wanted to know what all the hype. After reading Throne of Glass, I realized that the hype was real.

After finishing Crown of Midnight, I had to take a break from this series because of all the feels. Now that I am emotionally stable, I’ve decided to start Heir of Fire tonight. #TeamChaol

Book 2

This has been everywhere and I just want to know why. Simple as that. (Review to come).

Book 3

I took a break from the Marked Men series, but I will be starting it up again. I’m so excited for Nash & Saint’s story!

Book 4

I was not a big fan of the Pushing the Limits series (I only like the first book). But I’ve decided to give Katie McGarry another shot and it sounds like it could be a fun summer read. (Review to come).

Book 5

Just continuing the Marked Men Series…(swoon).

Book 6

So continuing with my goal to expand my reading horizon, I decided to venture into sci-fi as well. I have heard such great things about Jennifer L. Armentrout’s books, especially the Lux series, so I had pick this up.

Book 7

Let me just start out by saying that I really enjoyed The Duff. I read it in three hours (when I was suppose to be writing a paper) and it was just too funny and cute. When I found out that this book was the companion novel to The Duff, I had to pick it up. Hopefully it will be just as cute! (Review to come).

Book 8

Personally, I am not too big of a fan of male authors. I don’t know what it is, but I just don’t care to read books written by men. However, I decided to change that and I chose Patrick Ness because I’ve heard such great things and this book really piqued my interest (hopefully I won’t hate it).

So that is all for my July TBR list. I hope I can get through all of them in time and I can’t wait to get started!

See you between the pages

I'm Ari, a local NYC bibliophile and a forever daydreamer. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book and my head up in the clouds. I am also a coffee addict and a chocolate connoisseur. I fell in love with the romance genre about three years ago and I haven't been able to stop reading about happily-ever-afters, which is ironic because I'm a bit of a cynical romantic in real life, haha. I hope you all enjoy my blog and fangirling with me about all the smutty reads!
