30-Day Book Challenge: Day 14

 30 Day Book Challenge (2)

Happy Sunday!

Welcome to Day 14 of this 30-Day Book Challenge. The challenge is simple; for each day there is a statement and you have to choose a book or series that relates to said statement. Let’s begin!

Day 1 (14)

Of all of Sarah Dessen’s books, Just Listen is my favorite. This book follows Annabel Greene, whose life has been flipped upside down due to a rumor that is not true. She has lost her best friend and things at home are not that great either. But she soon meets Owen Armstrong— a reformed bad-boy obsessed with music and telling the truth. While spending time with Owen, Annabel starts to find her voice and with Owen’s help, she may even be able to tell the truth about what happened that night.

The main reason this book is my favorite is because I LOVE OWEN! I love his personality and his passion for music, he was just AWESOME! I also liked the story line for this book. It was not so focused on the romance between the two characters, but rather more on Annabel coming to terms with what happened to her and finally being able to speak up about it. I pick up this book and re-read it at least twice a year and I love it even more every time.

That’s all for this post! Until tomorrow…

I'm Ari, a local NYC bibliophile and a forever daydreamer. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book and my head up in the clouds. I am also a coffee addict and a chocolate connoisseur. I fell in love with the romance genre about three years ago and I haven't been able to stop reading about happily-ever-afters, which is ironic because I'm a bit of a cynical romantic in real life, haha. I hope you all enjoy my blog and fangirling with me about all the smutty reads!
