Ahhh!! I’m almost at the end of this challenge! Welcome to Day 29 of this 30-Day Book Challenge. The challenge is simple; for each day there is a statement and you have to choose a book or series that relates to said statement. Let’s begin!
This one is a no-brainer…
The pick for this challenge goes to Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.
Twilight, I feel so nostalgic when I think about this book because I read it in high school when the movies were coming out and the HYPE WAS REAL!
Twilight follows Isabella Swan who has moved to Forks, Washington to live with her father. She hasn’t lived with her father for many years, so they are both adjusting to being in each others lives. Bella is not much of a social butterfly. She’s kind of awkward and keeps to herself, but everyone at her new school seems to fascinated with her, including Edward Cullen. Bella is drawn to Edward. When she tries to befriend him, he completely brushes her off. Bella is taken aback, but she is still curious about him. As she keeps pushing, slowly the walls start to fall and Edward reveals his secret, a secret that could push them apart or bring them closer together.
All my friends hated Twilight. They said that the series was stupid because of the whole #TeamEdward/#TeamJacob debacle. But I was in my vampire OBSESSED phase so I was all about the books. I actually re-read the first two books over the summer and loved them. Ahh Twilight, you will never get old.
That’s all for this post! Until tomorrow…
