October ’15 Wrap-Up

Hey Book Friends!

It’s that time again…WRAP-UP TIME!

These are honestly my favorite post to do because I get to use ALL THE GIFs! Plus, I’m always surprised at how many books I manage to read (which shouldn’t be surprising at all considering my lack of a social life!). Okay, enough babbling…

Let’s get started!

Frosh: First Blush by Mónica B. Wagner: This book was HILARIOUS! These four characters are quite an entertaining bunch. The cliffhanger was unexpected and I’m excited to see where this story goes. Full Review HERE.

Shadows by Jennifer L. Armentrout: This little novella was a great read! You got to see where everything began and why Daemon hated humans. I do have to say that I may like Dawson just a bit more than Daemon because he is too sweet. Full Review HERE.

Cinder by Marissa Meyer: I feel really disappointed! I didn’t really like Cinder. I thought that it was a bit flat. I couldn’t connect to the characters and I think that is why I just couldn’t really get into this book. I’m hoping that Scarlet is better. Full Review HERE.

Oleah Chronicles: Truth by Michelle Johnson: I thought that this book was pretty decent. It’s a bit different than other YA paranormal’s and I kind of want to know what’s going to happen in the second book. Full Review HERE.

LIfe and Death: Twilight Reimagined by Stephenie Meyer: Not going to say much about this book. The GIF accurately portrays my emotions. Full Review HERE.

Right Where You Are by L.E. Bross: Man, I LOVE this debut series! I’m such a sucker for a good redemption story. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. Full Review HERE.

Love Unspoken by Lisa DeJong: This was one of my most anticipated releases for this year, and it did not disappoint. Lisa DeJong just knows how to speak to my soul and I basically just devour everything she writes. I am really hoping for a next book in this series, even if it is just a novella, I just want MORE! Full Review HERE.

Butterfly Dreams by A. Meredith Walters: I can’t even describe how I feel about this book! This was my FAVORITE read for this month and I don’t even know how I’m going to review it. I seriously just want to make some graphics for the quotes in this book because they just gave me all the FEELS! Review will be coming soon

Alexa Loved by T.R. Cupak: I read the first book in the Alexa series and even though I had some issues with it, the cliffhanger ending led me to picking up the second book to find out what was going to happen. I really shouldn’t have picked up this book. The writing was just ridiculous. Review to come.

That’s my wrap-up for this month. I think I have a pretty decent amount of read books. I didn’t manage to finsh the Lunar Chronicles as of yet, but I’m working on it! Hopefully, I can finish all the books before Winter comes out! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I'm Ari, a local NYC bibliophile and a forever daydreamer. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book and my head up in the clouds. I am also a coffee addict and a chocolate connoisseur. I fell in love with the romance genre about three years ago and I haven't been able to stop reading about happily-ever-afters, which is ironic because I'm a bit of a cynical romantic in real life, haha. I hope you all enjoy my blog and fangirling with me about all the smutty reads!

      1. oh, will this continue? we’ll have a ryan story? that’s great!!! 😀 😀
I was a bit mad that 2 months went by and that he didn’t make contact. I understood him, but after what she did, she deserved at least goodbye 😦
