Top Ten Tuesday (August 23, 2016): Unread Books That Have Been On My TBR Since Before I Started Blogging

Happy Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday is a bookish meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s topic is Ten Books That Have Been On Your Shelf (Or TBR) From Before You Started Blogging That You STILL Haven’t Read Yet. I think most of the books on my list are probably going to end up being from the New Adult genre since that was the genre that got me back into reading and inspired me to start blogging!

Let’s begin!

The Edge of Never Kaleidoscope Hearts | Fading Heart-Shaped Hack God-Shaped Hole Lost & Found You | The Opportunist | Broken by Lies | Faking Normal

If you posted a TTT for this week, drop your link down below so I can check them out!

I'm Ari, a local NYC bibliophile and a forever daydreamer. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book and my head up in the clouds. I am also a coffee addict and a chocolate connoisseur. I fell in love with the romance genre about three years ago and I haven't been able to stop reading about happily-ever-afters, which is ironic because I'm a bit of a cynical romantic in real life, haha. I hope you all enjoy my blog and fangirling with me about all the smutty reads!

  1. Ari, I’m nudging you to read The Edge of Never soon . You better meet Andrew Parrish. He’s a bae (J.A. Redmerski is queen!). Fading is good, I find it heavy when I’ve read it way back but I’m planning to reread it to continue the rest of the series. You – I really enjoy this as an audiobook. Love the narration and Joe Goldberg is an insane hopeless romantic. The Opportunist — the ending shattered my heart.

Heart-Shaped Hack is on my tbr list!

    1. “TheOpportunist — the ending shattered my heart.” Now I’m scared to read it because I don’t want my heart to be shattered, lol. & I swear, every month I pick my copy of The Edge of Never and look at how huge it is and then put it back down. I need to read it before the third book is released! Hopefully before the end of this year.

      1. I want to throw my copy of The Opportunist across my room because of the ending. Looking forward for you to read The Edge of Never, Ari! I hope you’ll love it. ❤ *whispers* You'll love Andrew Parrish 😉

  2. The Edge of Never and Faking Normal are two book I keep forgetting about. It’s so easy for these books to get lost in the shuffle but I definitely want to read them eventually.

  3. Kaleidoscope Hearts is so good! I remember your post about romances you really like and I have a feeling that’s a book that is right up your street. You’d probably love it 😃! It’s actually one of my all time favorites as far as romance novels go though so I might be a bit bias lol.

The Edge of Never has also been on my TBR for forever. I’ve almost picked it up several times but never actually have. One day, one day! 😂

    1. I haven’t read the synopsis for Kaleidoscope Hearts yet, but I’m super excited now to read it if it has one of my favorite romance tropes! I really only added to my TBR because I liked the cover and the title. & I’m totally with you The Edge of Never. Every month I try to pick it up, but it never happens.

      1. It does 😊! It’s a second chance type romance novel. (Which is one of my personal favorite romance tropes too.) I did the same when I first saw it. I thought the cover was gorgeous! But then I read it and fell in love with the whole story. It really is incredible and I hope you end up enjoying it 😊.

I think my problem is that I’ve heard such mixed things about it, which makes me hesitant to pick it up. But one of these days I’ll end up giving it! 😂

  4. I’ve heard nothing but good things about You and Faking Normal so I hope you enjoy both of them if you end up reading them. 🙂 Thanks for sharing and, as always, fabulous choices! ❤
