September Wrap-Up & October Most Anticipated Releases

erty

Hey Guys!

Wrap-up time is HERE!

October is here! October is one of my favorite months because of all the scary movies and shows on TV. I usually don’t watch TV, but I love shows and movies that give me a good scare. Also, the holiday season is almost upon us!

Let’s get started!

BOOKS I READ:

I read a total of 10 books this month and I enjoyed pretty much all of them. I ended up lowering my Goodreads Challenge from 150 to 125 books because I want to slow down my reading pace and 125 seems reasonable.

BOOK REVIEWS:

Second Chances by Mónica B. Wagner | ★★★ | A sequel that fell short and I’m currently contemplating whether or not I want to read the final installment in the series.
Rookie Move by Sarina Bowen | ★★★★½ | An excellent start to a new series and I’m excited for the sequel.
Fuel the Fire by Krista & Becca Ritchie | ★★★★★ | A book that went above and beyond and I couldn’t ask for a more perfect ending for Coballoway
Long Way Down by Krista & Becca Ritchie | ★★★★★ | A book that was absolute perfection and the perfect ending to Daisy and Ryke’s story
Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas | ★★★★½ |  Another great installment in the Throne of Glass series and I can’t wait to see how this series will end.
Trust the Focus by Megan Erickson | ★★★½ | A great start to a M/M romance series that could quite possibly become one of my faves.
Focus on Me by Megan Erickson| ★★★★½ | A beautiful and heartfelt M/M romance that had me in tears by the end.
Out of Frame by Megan Erickson | ★★★★ | A fun and entertaining M/M romance that left me wanting more.
Overexposed by Megan Erickson | ★★★★ | A beautiful ending to an already amazing M/M romance series.
Unicorn Tracks by Julia Ember | ★★★★ | A unique and fascinating YA fantasy with amazing world building and engaging plot will suck you in.
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo | ★★★★★ | Everything I wanted and more in a YA Fantasy novel.

I'm Ari, a local NYC bibliophile and a forever daydreamer. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book and my head up in the clouds. I am also a coffee addict and a chocolate connoisseur. I fell in love with the romance genre about three years ago and I haven't been able to stop reading about happily-ever-afters, which is ironic because I'm a bit of a cynical romantic in real life, haha. I hope you all enjoy my blog and fangirling with me about all the smutty reads!

    1. I know! I was looking at some of the upcoming releases and there are so many good books coming out, I can’t keep up. I’ve prioritized them so I can read my most anticipated releases first, but I’m hoping to get to most of them before the end of the year.

    1. I felt the same about The Goal. The Score is still my favorite, but Tucker is seriously hubby goals! I think we’ll have to wait a while for the spin-off series because there are like two other series she’s currently working on :(. Hopefully we don’t have to wait TOO long.
