November Wrap-Up & December Most Anticipated Releases

Hey Guys!

This has got to be one of my worst wrap-up posts EVER! I literally only wrote three reviews this month, one discussion post and read only nine books. I have failed as a book blogger. But in that failure, I realized that I wasn’t fully loving my blog and I’ve decided to rebrand it. I’m excited for the changes that are about to happen and I can’t wait to share them with you all in the new year!

Let’s get started!

I read a total of 9 books this month! I was in a crappy reading mood this month all because of Punk 57! That book put me in a slump, but I still managed to read some pretty great books. If you haven’t picked up the Cyclone series by Courtney Milan yet, I totally recommend checking it out. It’s so good and relatable and the characters are the best!

Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas | ★★★★ | A creative, unpredictable, dark romance with a powerful message that will resonate with many readers.
Bad Romeo Christmas by Leisa Rayven | ★★★★ | A perfect ending to one of my favorite series. I’m going to miss these characters so much. They are my children!
Lessons in Letting Go by Jessica Peterson | ★★★ | A steamy, fun read that fell short when it came to the plot and characters.

79.pngIt’s sad to say, but I actually don’t have any anticipated releases for the month of December. So instead, I will be using this month to read all my January ARCs and get those out of the way. I’ll also be busy revamping my blog which I’m excited for!

That is all for the month of November. Feel free to check out any of the above posts mentioned if you haven’t done so already.

Let me know in the comments which December release you are most excited for!-Ari (2)

I'm Ari, a local NYC bibliophile and a forever daydreamer. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book and my head up in the clouds. I am also a coffee addict and a chocolate connoisseur. I fell in love with the romance genre about three years ago and I haven't been able to stop reading about happily-ever-afters, which is ironic because I'm a bit of a cynical romantic in real life, haha. I hope you all enjoy my blog and fangirling with me about all the smutty reads!

      1. Fair enough! I’m about 100 pages away from the end and enjoying it but the second book irritated me so much that I only read this book because it wrapped up the series and it felt weird not reading the last book but I’m enjoying it 💖

  1. OMG TRADE ME. Can you please give me the down-low on whether or not that book is worth reading? From your rec I assume so, but I want more details. Before reading this post I literally went to your blog and searched for Trade Me but found nothing so I assumed you haven’t read it yet but yeeees.

RE: blogging blues, I can totally relate. I’ve been feeling kind of ‘off’ it also but since I wrote SO MANY POSTS before, I pretty much have everything scheduled up to, er, January. So even if I’m not writing anything I’m still publishing things, haha. I’m excited for your rebrand, though, and I can’t wait to see what it’ll all look and be like later on! Have fun. 💞

    1. I actually reviewed it on Goodreads (see review here) and I really loved the first book. The couple in this book is my favorite so far in the series and the characters are so SASSY! I think you would like this series Reg because the romance comes second to all the other issues our characters deal with (school, career goals, family conflicts). Just a heads up though, there is A LOT of angst!

YOU HAVE POSTS SCHEDULED UP UNTIL JANUARY?! 😱😱 I need to get on your blogging level in the new year for sure. I’m hoping my rebrand goes over well and doesn’t lose me followers. 😅😅

      1. Yeees, thank you! I’ll pick it up for sure, though probably not for review and just for fun.

I do. 🙈 It’s mostly reviews – I’ve read so many review books but I can’t publish them all bc then I get overwhelmed, and I really need to pace myself with them. I hope the rebrand goes well for you too! I’m sure it’ll be fine. ❤

  2. Aww, don’t be too hard on yourself about not having the best blogging month! I totally feel you. It’s better to take a step back/have a break than completely burn yourself out. Also, nine books is still REALLY good. Looking forward to seeing the rebranding you have in store 😀
