Top Ten Tuesday: All Time Favorite Second-Chance Romances

Happy Valentine’s Day, Bookworms!

Top Ten Tuesday is a bookish meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s topic is All About Romance Tropes/Types. I decided to list my ALL-TIME FAVORITE second-chance romances since it’s my favorite romance trope ever and I’m listing the best-of-the best (according to yours truly of course) which is why there are only six books on this list and I totally recommend y’all check them out if you love second-chance romances too!

Let’s begin!

If you posted a TTT for this week, drop your link down below so I can check them out!sig

I'm Ari, a local NYC bibliophile and a forever daydreamer. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book and my head up in the clouds. I am also a coffee addict and a chocolate connoisseur. I fell in love with the romance genre about three years ago and I haven't been able to stop reading about happily-ever-afters, which is ironic because I'm a bit of a cynical romantic in real life, haha. I hope you all enjoy my blog and fangirling with me about all the smutty reads!

  1. Wicked Heart was such an amazing book! One of my favourite second chance romances for sure!

Collared looks great though! I have a soft spot for Nicole William’s novels so I’ll have to check it out!

Fall from India Place by Samantha Young is one of my favourite second chance romances if I had to pick.

    1. I had to double check the cover a few times while reading Collared because it doesn’t read like any of Williams’ previous works. I was so surprised by it and I’m waiting for her to write another book like this! I still need to read the On Dublin Street series. I don’t like the covers for that series, which is why I keep putting them off, but I heard Young’s books are really good so hopefully they’re better than the covers, haha.

  2. Jude ❤ I am so happy he got his happy ending. He deserved it. I've not read Rookie Blue yet but it's on the must read list. Sarina Bowen' writing is addictive. I'm a sucker for second chance romances. I love the history and the struggles and everything they go through because it shows how willing and dedicated they are to make it work and to fight for that relationship.

    1. My favorite part about second-chance romances are flashback scenes when we get to see how our two MCs first met and get to experience all those first-time emotions. Those are the best scenes! Sarina Bowen is going to be the death of my feels. She has so many books releasing this year too, I need to stock up on tissues!

  3. I admit that second-chance romance is not my favorite genre, but I enjoyed several of books on your list. Have you read One & Only by Viv Daniels? I enjoyed this second-chance romance a lot.

    1. I love Collared so much because of the plot twist, it’s a good plot twist though because I’ve never seen it done before and it changes the whole ‘feel’ of the book. I kind of wish he would write more books like this instead of the cheesy romances she writes now, haha.
