Revelry by Kandi Steiner

Betrayed by Lies by Rebecca Shea

I actually read more books than this but I’m being too lazy to include them so these are the books I read over the weekend. Where Good Girls Go to Die was suppose to be a buddy-read with my smut squad, but I ended up finishing it before everyone else and I hated it so told the girls not to bother. Hopefully the next book we choose is better.

I also randomly decided to start Revelry. The last time I read a Kandi Steiner book, I ended up throwing my eReader across the room and cracking the case and I was so hoping I wouldn’t have a repeat of last time because I don’t think my eReader can handle anymore damage. Luckily, I actually ended up enjoying Revelry so my eReader’s safe for now. REVIEW TO COME.

Lastly, I read Betrayed by Lies and this book actually pissed me off. The two previous books in this series were okay, kind of meh, but I was still curious to know how Sam’s story ended. This should’ve been marketed as a novella and not a novel because it was so freakin’ short and I didn’t even feel like it had a substantial plot. Also, the insta-love…I wish I could unread this book.

Before I Ever Met You by Karina Halle

I’ve only read the first chapter of Karina’s new release so far and let me just say this author loves her dramatics. I’m hoping this will be entertaining.

I'm Ari, a local NYC bibliophile and a forever daydreamer. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book and my head up in the clouds. I am also a coffee addict and a chocolate connoisseur. I fell in love with the romance genre about three years ago and I haven't been able to stop reading about happily-ever-afters, which is ironic because I'm a bit of a cynical romantic in real life, haha. I hope you all enjoy my blog and fangirling with me about all the smutty reads!
