WWW Wednesday- June 14, 2017

Hey Guys!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World Of Words. Simply answer the following questions:

What have you recently finished reading?
What are you currently reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

Coming Up for Air by Miranda Kenneally

My reading week has not been the best because all the following books were misses for me. While I enjoy all the drama in the Fallen Crest High series, I cannot stand any of these characters and the writing has an awkward flow to me. But I’m still going to continue with the series and hopefully things get better. I finally finished the Hundred Oaks series and I’ve never been more happier. I have a lot of blogger friends who love this series, but sorry y’all it wasn’t for me.

My Roommate’s Girl by Julianna Keyes

I’ve been wanting to check out Julianna Keyes’ books for a while now so I decided to pick up her newest release and I have to admit this book was not what I was expecting. I’m about 50% done and the little twist totally took me for a loop and I’m so anxious to see how things play out.

Girl on the Verge by Pintip Dunn

I need to get back to reviewing ARCs (luckily I’m almost finished), so this book is up next!

What are you guys reading this week? Leave me your links down below!

I'm Ari, a local NYC bibliophile and a forever daydreamer. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book and my head up in the clouds. I am also a coffee addict and a chocolate connoisseur. I fell in love with the romance genre about three years ago and I haven't been able to stop reading about happily-ever-afters, which is ironic because I'm a bit of a cynical romantic in real life, haha. I hope you all enjoy my blog and fangirling with me about all the smutty reads!

  1. So, Fallen Crest…I wonder if I had a better experience because I listened to the audio books at first? Sam was annoying, but it brought a lot of life to all of the characters. After reading your comments above, I can see how it might have been different when reading. By the time I started reading the last two books rather than listening, I was used to the flow. I don’t think I started liking the characters until Fallen Crest Public (book 3). I think having Mason’s POV helped with that. I’ll be interested in what you think as you go on. I feel bad you didn’t enjoy the books as much since I pushed you to read them.

    1. You don’t have anything to feel bad about, Deanna. I had this series on my TBR so I was going to get to it eventually. A lot of other bloggers said they didn’t like the first two books and were unsure about continuing, but the third book hooked them. I’m going to give book 3 and see how that goes.

  2. Bleh! I’m sorry this week hasn’t been that great of a reading week. I hope My Roommate’s Girl is bringing back the mojo though! I was surprised by the turn of that event too. It was a good twist though! 🙂
I hope you have a better reading week this week! 🙂
