Special Announcement

Hey Guys!

So I’m just going to keep this post short and to the point. For a while now I haven’t been loving blogging as much as I used to and it was becoming frustrating because although I had time to read books, I didn’t have time to actually sit down and write reviews. But I didn’t want to pull the plug on my blog just yet.

Another blogger friend of mine was feeling this same way and eventually we decided to try out co-blogging together. Two heads are better than one, right? I’m so excited to be co-blogging with Britt over atย Blissfully Read. She is a fellow romance blogger who is sassy as hell and we also have the same taste in books. I’m sure co-blogging will be a lot of fun for us and we will both try to keep our petty level to a minimum, haha.

So what is going to happen to The Daydreaming Bookworm? I’m putting my blog on a semi-hiatus, semi because I have ARCs to review for this blog and once I get them all posted, I won’t be returning until September. I’m also taking a break from ARCs to I can just read whatever I want with no stress or expectations.

Now for the good part, the new blog! The New Romantics is primarily a romance blog and Britt and I hope to bring you the best the genre has to offer. So click on the button and go check out my new blogging home for the next two months!

I'm Ari, a local NYC bibliophile and a forever daydreamer. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book and my head up in the clouds. I am also a coffee addict and a chocolate connoisseur. I fell in love with the romance genre about three years ago and I haven't been able to stop reading about happily-ever-afters, which is ironic because I'm a bit of a cynical romantic in real life, haha. I hope you all enjoy my blog and fangirling with me about all the smutty reads!

  1. Sorry to hear this but I totally get how frustrating it can get. For me it is the same and sometimes I feel like I cannot keep up and when I don’t post reviews I feel guilty. I just realized that I wasn’t following Blissfully Read but I just followed. I am looking forward to read you guys reviews. Goodluck co-blogging.

    1. Thanks, Deanna! You could always add the URL for my new blog to your WP reader and our posts will show up in your reader so it’ll be easier to keep up to date. And I’ll be around still commenting on posts so I won’t totally disappear, haha.

  2. I’m the opposite, I still enjoy blogging (even though I have cut back a bit too) but I just can’t find the time to read, I mean I have time to read obviously but I’d rather do other stuff. I’ve been reading quite a bit obsessively since like 2007 so I think I’m just a bit burnt out on reading and just need a break.
