The Weekly Rewind: July 21, 2019

Hey guys!

Currently writing up this post while I’m locked in my air-conditioned room because it’s a freakin’ sauna outside! This heatwave came out of nowhere and it’s unbearable. I’m anemic and I rarely feel hot but this heat is killing me! The excessive heat has also been affecting the subway systems and trains keep shutting down during the middle of rush hour. Imagine being stuck underground with no air—IT’S TORTURE! Luckily the heat wave is suppose to break on Monday and I hope it rains like hell because we need it. Anyways, let’s get to my week in blogging!

Let’s get started!

This week’s reading week has been filled with hits and misses. Making Up was a DNF because I could not stand the excessive drama or the annoying heroine but luckily Handle with Care was a much better read. Then I finally started my binge-read of the Tangled series. So many of my romance reading friends adore this series and Drew Evans and well….I don’t. It’s okay, y’all can disown my ass if you want but Drew and I just don’t get along. (Bea, you can keep Drew, I’ll stick to my main man Jake!)

Currently reading the second book in the Tangled series and you guys, I’m not having a good time. I’m so freakin’ mad at the fuckery that is going down and I just wanna fight Drew at this point!

This is actually a reissue of one of Kennedy’s previous books but it’s new to me and it has new content so I’m excited to read it!

No post this week!

I'm Ari, a local NYC bibliophile and a forever daydreamer. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book and my head up in the clouds. I am also a coffee addict and a chocolate connoisseur. I fell in love with the romance genre about three years ago and I haven't been able to stop reading about happily-ever-afters, which is ironic because I'm a bit of a cynical romantic in real life, haha. I hope you all enjoy my blog and fangirling with me about all the smutty reads!
