The Weekly Rewind: August 18, 2019

Hey guys!

This week has been yet again another stressful week! I really thought things would’ve slowed down at work this month considering we’re nearing the end of summer and most doctor’s tend to take time off during this month but I guess I was wrong because things are still very much hectic. Luckily, I had some really good books the help de-stress. Anyways, let’s get to my week in blogging!

Let’s get started!

I started out this reading week in my feelings and I ended it still being in my feelings. That Forever Girl is my new favorite book by Meghan Quinn. The Right Swipe was an okay read for me, mainly because I’m not a big fan of books revolving around online dating. I felt personally attacked by Things You Save in a Fire and that book high key had me in some tears.

I should’ve been finished this book by now (I probably will be finished by the time this post goes live) but I just haven’t had much time to read. I’m still enjoying it though and I can’t wait to see how things end.

Already started one of these ARCs and I’m excited to get to the second one!

No post this week!

I'm Ari, a local NYC bibliophile and a forever daydreamer. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book and my head up in the clouds. I am also a coffee addict and a chocolate connoisseur. I fell in love with the romance genre about three years ago and I haven't been able to stop reading about happily-ever-afters, which is ironic because I'm a bit of a cynical romantic in real life, haha. I hope you all enjoy my blog and fangirling with me about all the smutty reads!

  1. Sorry work is still hectic for you. Hopefully, things die down a little so you can take a breather. At least you’ve still been reading. I’ve don’t feel like I’ve read any Meghan Quinn before but I’ll have to check out your review to see your thoughts. And I still need to read The Right Swipe, I’m seeing mixed things and now I’m hesitant but we’ll see.
