The Weekly Rewind: September 22, 2019

Hey guys!

Me: says I’m finally gonna get to writing my reviews this week. Also me: spends the week binge-watching anime from my childhood. Clearly I have my priorities in order, lol. In my defense, this week has been a hectic one since my parents were out of town and I had lots to do. My pets definitely missed my parents more than anyone else because they’ve literally been crying all the time. Luckily my parents are coming home today so I don’t have to deal with their tears anymore. Anyways, let’s get to my week in blogging!

Let’s get started!

While I’ve read quite a few books this, most of them were very underwhelming. The week started off great after I cried over the ending of Millions and then picked up Undertow which had a great plot twist. Savior and Another were both meh reads. I’m starting to think that Fiona Cole’s books just aren’t for me anymore and it’s time to move on. Not the Girl You Marry was such a bore that I DNFed it. Jock Road was an okay read but I wish it was longer and that there had been more of a conflict.

Until this reading funk goes away, I’m just gonna read non-review books so I can cross them off my TBR.

Listen y’all, if you love Disney and you love anti-heroes then you need to read this series! I can’t wait to start this bad boy once I get out of this funk.

I'm Ari, a local NYC bibliophile and a forever daydreamer. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book and my head up in the clouds. I am also a coffee addict and a chocolate connoisseur. I fell in love with the romance genre about three years ago and I haven't been able to stop reading about happily-ever-afters, which is ironic because I'm a bit of a cynical romantic in real life, haha. I hope you all enjoy my blog and fangirling with me about all the smutty reads!
